Default Annmarie's father passed away.

Got a call from annmarie and an email from Kathy.
Annmarie's dad passed away early this morning from a massive heart attack.
Please keep her and her family in your prayers at this time and also for alll she has been through.
God Bless you annmarie!

i ve had the message box on for a while trying to figure what kinda words of comfort i could give..it s difficult cuz i also lost my dad to cancer a week befor the 4th of July holiday..

the sorrow, emptiness and confusion i experienced during that period..i can only imagine what Annemarie is going thru..

i wish i could say more..but, the more i search for the right words..the pain of my own loss returns..

I am so empathetic with both of you.
It really is hard to say anything. Dad's are so special. I was a new member here when I lost my dad. I asked annmarie if she recalled that and she did. I can't even recall what I had to say and don't even want to know. I just recall being in an ocean of pain.
My sympathies to you both.

ohhhh Thank you both sooooooo much
AND
for some reason I don't have that hole ripped inside me with that hollow feeling yet......my dad well i got him to live 6yrs ago and he talked to me daily via phone as he lived 5hours away, we were best friends & since i could remember always had a special relationship.

My dad prepped me but i thought we had maybe another year or tiny bit longer and my dad was a southerner to a T and everybody says i am just like him hhahaaaaaaaa

My dad though put it this way down the line i will wake up one night and it will hit me my aunt and others say for me it will be some time.
For now though the pictures in my mind, the wonderful memories i hold and the warmth love and laughter in my heart will never fade. DAD taught me to laugh even in the worst of moments to always find humor so daily i try to do that. I will admit today was a tad rough and WOW had DAVE not been with me i'd have lost my truck along with my keys hahhahaaa

i didn't know i was in a fog till i lost my keys and cell phone, went right back to store called my phone and wahlaaa found them! hahhahahah

anyway, I appreciate your support and kind words but i also have to smile as I was lucky to keep my dad going an extra 6 yrs as he was to be 72 yrs old a week after he died, I sang happy birthday to him on that day in a huge storm with hail, thunder and lightening that uprooted trees and got lost but DAD helped me find my way back to town as i was stuck at my mom's for 2 weeks my truck broke down the day after i saw him at funeral home.

I brought home the books and silly things like his duck caller and spinning tops and the hula girl you press from bottom that makes it move.
DAD and I loved toys and trinkets and nature..

one day soon i will post an article i wrote about him and a sense of humor and how it helped me raise 3 doodle puppies......a hint: it has to do with gorillas and bulls hahhahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

sooo rather than have sadness for me, smile that my dad is now where he wanted to be: in peace and in God's arms, he was tired and in pain but no longer that way as of july 8th, 2010. I believe he is finally truly happy.
