Shamless Plea For Help ;-)
Hey Old Forum Friends,
Mark, former site owner here... how's everybody doing? I know this is really off topic, so mods don't hesitate to nuke this thread if you deem it inappropriate. I would understand completely! Some of you have already seen my plea for help on Facebook, but here is a shameless request for help. Our payroll company is running a promotion where you submit a testimonial, and whoever gets the most votes wins a 'vacation'. We're encouraged to ask our friends to 'vote' for our story. The person in the lead only has about 60 votes, and I currently have 45 and am betting the ol' Labradoodle forum can help put me over the top. Yes, I'm currently in the lead
Contest ends April 30th, but I'm currently waaayyy ahead (THANKS!). New entries were closed on April 15th, so no one else can submit a testimonial. I just have to stay ahead of everyone else for 13 more days. Thanks again for your support! My niece is getting married in Florida in October, and this would go a long ways towards getting us there. It is a great promotion idea, and actually I really do like our payroll company (SurePayroll). They do all of the paperwork and filings for us, and even allow us to do direct deposit, etc. We're only a 3 person shop, but we have employees in two different states and all of the paperwork would be a nightmare otherwise. I'm still a full-time webmaster building sites and 'living the life' working from home It's been a little rough over the last 18 months, but I think we've survived the Great Recession and business seems to be picking up a little bit. How's everyone doing with their Labradoodle business?Glad to see the forum is still alive and well. I still 'lurk' from time to time, but don't participate often. Did you notice I'm back ahead? I never dreamed I could pull this many votes. Currently 100 votes ahead at 680 votes.
