Hi guys...I can't believe that the pups are already 7 weeks, they will be old enough to go to their new homes soon... *sigh*...bitter sweet times.
Instead of downloading pictures, I am linking my web page to some recent pics. We had a fun day! http://www.gabbyjackranch.org/conten...y-reserved-yet |

Oh Jac,
Your puppies are just stunning!!! Are they F1bs or F2? I guess it's good I live so far away or I'd be signing up for one!!! Liz

They are so cute Jac, I especially like the black/grey close up of the face. I think you have a lovley pup there. 7 weeks, wow, they are so much fun and hard work at this age. I bet you are exhausted and loving it! The 7 weeks has really flown by.

Thanks for looking and for commenting...
Yep, it is a LOT of work! But so much fun...thank goodness for nap time. hahaha Liz, these are North American Retrievers, cross between an F1B Goldendoodle and an F1 Labradoodle...service dog organizations have been crossing Labs and Goldens for more than 20 years with great results for service work...and this litter is very smart...I think it is a good combination. The little silver faced girl...there are 3 just like her. I can't tell them apart from the face, I have to look at other markings. They are getting very silver and they really are gorgeous. The coats, while some are Labby looking, are very soft and have not shown any sign of shedding yet...by now, my other shedders were shedding...so I think that this litter have good coats. Only one feels like it may be coarse, the others are like silk. |

Your pups are so beautiful Jacque! I LOVE Shasta! (Marley says "HUBBA HUBBA")
They are growing WAY too fast!! I need to take new pics in the next couple days myself...... On your silvering pups.... beings they are turning silver already, especially in the face.. Would that not make them silvers instead of the Blues you normally get? |

I think so, Judi, but I will have to see what they do as they get older. I am thinking that Swany carries the isabella gene...and with Bayley's blue, it could be stronger...but I'll just have to see. I adore their faces though!

I think you are correct on the isabella. It turns apricot lighter too, like your creams, sometimes as far as champange like your lightest. I think it means if you produce a chocolate from the light cream girl they will be cafe/lavender/parchment. They are lovely
