I was attacked by a CAT today!!

YEPPERS!

I met this couple and her mom today to show them a house.
In the Dining Room...here sits this tabby cat HISSING at us. We all look at each other and roll our eyes.

My clients had just gone upstairs and I was in th Dining Room alone and looking at the windows that appeared to be leaking.
The cat hissed at me......and then meowed.
So, I meowed back and stood there thinking maybe it was a nice cat. He meowed again and so did I. I was about 3 ft from him.
I turned to follow my clients up the stairs about 12 feet away and this THING charged me.....growling, hissing and biting at my pants!
I literally SCREAMED and started to shake this thing off my leg which ticked it off more! I started running up the stairs with IT on my tail!

By this time, these people at the top of the stairs are yelling RUN FOR THE BATHROOM!
We all made it into the bathroom..........me with my heart pounding......and slammed the door!
The cat wouldn't leave and just kept GROWLING outside the door!

We then had to call the Real Estate listing office and tell them what was going on!
She called the owner and the owner rescued us in about 15 minutes!
We all started laughing after awhile...here are 4 people stuck in the smallest bathroom of this 3000 SQFT house.
The guy client is figuring on how he can throw a towel over the cat and stick him in a room.........yet I think he was glad we were going to be SAVED!!
I have NEVER had anything like this happen to me before and never knew cats could be so VISCIOUS!!!

When the owner gets ome, she says her cat never does this! YEAH RIGHT! Must be ME!
She asked if I petted it......I said no, as first off I'm allergic to cats and secondly, am I going to pet a cat who is hissing one second, meowing the next and growling so you can hear it in the other room? UH-UH!!!
So, now the office has to give special instructions to NOT PET OR GO NEAR CAT!!
This is CrAzY!!

AND..the woman says she closes all the doors in the house for cat hair! Ummmm.........she ESPECIALLY closes her bedroom door so this ATTACK CAT named KITTY ....won't rip her face off at night!

It's all really funny now, but it scared the crap out of me! If you could have seen and heard me screaming, running, kicking and jumping!! What a great VIDEO!!

hahahahhaa....not funny when it happened...but I am wondering WHAT YOU SAID TO THAT CAT!!! hahahahah

Seriously...the homeowner should lock the cat in a room or a crate when the house is scheduled for a showing...there is liability, even with a cat...

Too weird. But funny!

Oh LINDA I am laughing so hard hhahaaa my daughter is wondering what is so funny!
at 1st I thought you meant Bogie which didn't make sense in your story and then i realized it was YOU!!!
and years ago a good friend had a Persian cat that for some reason was an attack cat without warning
she'd swipe ya full claws out for no reason
there wasn't a man or woman or kid around that feared , get this ---> " KITTY" yes that was her name!

soooooooo LINDA you must NEVER AGAIN try out Cat Language as you haven't translated what you said hahhaahhhaa
that SET OFF the KITTY hahhaa

my house is similarly sized and sorry but there is HUMOR and i wish i could hear a tape recording of all of you
talking and fearing for your lives over a feral-like domesticated kitty cat.

Funny you should mention this! Here is something "out of the mouths of babes".
I was walking with my 7 year old neighbor, Chloe, and Bogart last night. I told her the story and she said! "AUNT LINDA!! You said something really bad in cat language!"

I cant believe how often we now laugfh over this story. It really was a comedy act for sure!

Now.....I DID find a slight tooth mark near my ankle. Question is...was it there before.........or did KITTY inflict this on me? My friend has told me to get a tetanus shot. Hmmm.......I wonder........DANG KIITY!!

hahahaha...Linda, you crack me up! How do you know it is a tooth mark?

Not to take it too lightly, I know you must worry...call a local vet...better yet the vet of the home owner and ask if they have had any problems with rabies or distemper (do cats get distemper?)

Cat scratches and bites are much worse than a dogs..........and IF YOU ARE near the 10yr mark, GET the TETANUS SHOT
(esp/if you plan on showing that house again DANG I can't stop laughing hahhaaaaaaaaaaaaa sorry hahaaa)

IF you didn't clean out that small bite mark, doesn't matter

1.Contact owner make SURE Rabies shot is up to date.......don't want you frothing at the mouth Linda
2. Doesn't hurt to get Tetanus shot if you wait too long like i once did you get one shot in your butt (hurts for days)
and another shot in the arm.

UPDATE US please............meow meow
