After a long, long time of needing Tia as my service dog we finally found a trainer! We can't get him the initial money until next month but he is great! We actually found him at a boat show. He is a bit expensive but he has a lifetime (of the dog) plan and that is what we went for. Also to add another dog is half price as long as we have Tia in training. So say in a year we find we can and want to add Buddy we can at half price. Then say Tia is (God forbid) no longer with us our next dog still is added at half price as long as Buddy is in training. So I started my saving account so we can have the amount we need to start by next month. I am wonderfully excited and terribly scared!
I love this trainer and I feel confident he is what we need but I am not confident I can do this. Oh well I think I will go throw up now!!!!! |

I am so happy that you have found someone you like! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
Does he live pretty close to you then? You will do great, Kathy! It is only a matter of practice, every day, practice. That is where most people go wrong...they quit working with the dog. |
