Okay - none doodle related but MAN I want to vent!
My 6 year old son was in and out of doctors office for the first 5 1/2 years of his life. He had HORRIBLE ear infections, long story short we finally find out he can hardly hear, his ear drum is falling in on itself, etc. NICE amount of money spent, but worth it. WELL now he is 100% healthy and I have a good physician that keeps it that way. But he does have a bed wetting issue (yep kind-of personal but again VENTING)...we go to the docs to see if he can help, and HEY there's a pill that can fix that for him until he body grows and develops. AWESOME!!!! Seeing how my son has been invited to 3 sleep-overs this month alone, he can actually ATTEND! We are both super excited when we head to the pharamcy....$109.00 later for a 30-day supply, my son is still happy and Mommy, not so much. Pee pills costing $109.00?!?!?!?! U-G-H!!!! Pharamist wanted to consult with me AFTER paying for it, his only comment "do you know how much this stuff costs?" LOL. |

Is there a way you can order them from an online pharmacy from Canada. A lot of Americans do this because we regulate prescrition drug prices. You would have to google companies. If it is an ongoing thing, you may be able to set that up.

I KNOW!!
I recently had to tally up what it costs for both me and my husband a year and I was SHOCKED!! Even with insurance, the co-pays can be horrendous! I have these pain patches and even after insurance they cost $70! I feel what you're going through. Hope your son does better.......hugs

Ugh. I hear you! I just got the bill for my procedure...I thought I would only pay 20% copay...nope, the bill is $618!
I think that Todd has the right idea! Many people do buy from Canada... |

Think I may try out Todd's suggestion about Canadain drugs. Because it's certainly on-going. He has to take one pill a night until his body starts to produce the hormone the pill is now replacing for him.
I couldn't figure out why my bank account was so low this month, until I started to tally up this month's medical costs associated with Issac - over $400.00 this month in insurance premiums, co-pays, prescriptions, etc. WAY over our normal budget. So now I'm just hoping the doods and myself don't get sick and need to go see the doctors or the vet anytime soon. Give me a little time to readjust the budget. |

I lucked out when i didn't have medical insurance and this small mom/pop pharmacy charged me 50% LESS than the big chain ones!!!
NOW i know medication costs as one co-pay is $60 for one of my son's asthma meds my nasal spray when i don't have insurance is $38 and it's generic if i get the real Flonase it costs $75 OH and my son, myself and PEANUT ...we're all on the same nasal spray but for Peanut it helps tremendously and my vet can't believe she lets me spray it directly in her nose she has 2 sprays in each nostril 2x a day......the $$ is worth it though as it really does work. i also have a few other meds ........wow the cost is unreal if its a necessary med luckily i'll have the cobra plan soon for a few months and them my med costs will go down the only ones covered by my car accident and surgery i have to pay upfront then mail in and wait a LONG time to be reimbursed. they have me on 4 different meds at the moment UGH! plus a 5th one if my digestive system goes out of whack! I DO KNOW when my 3 kids were small and my EX husband with heart problems our RX bills were OUTRAGEOUS i am sooooooo happy my kids are almost totally grown now. the bills are tremendously lower
