I am going to make a confession here...you will soon find out that my husband and I are woefully inept, but extraordinarily funny...when we try to put our house in order...
Do you see anything amiss with this fireplace stovepipe? ![]() No? How about now? ![]() Still stumped? ![]() Well if you don't see it yet...welcome to my world! Dave and I worked for HOURS... poor Dave...he was doing all of the heavy lifting...I was guiding...and we had a brilliant idea to stop the stovepipe from swinging away from the fitting...and soon we had the stovepipe in...nice tight fit! We were thrilled! So, we stepped back to admire our handiwork...and that is when it hit me... Gales of laughter followed...but it took Dave a little time before he saw the humor... Needless to say, the ladder and the stovepipe will stay that way until spring...when we can recruit a crew to help! If you still don't get it...we may be related! |

The ladder is one of those really big, versatile ones...that you can make into scaffolding or saw-horses and a bunch of other things... DH doesn't want to leave it. LOL This is a two story building and the ladder was great, allowing us to lean it against the loft like that...pretty good ladder...but I think it is worth it's weight in gold just for the entertainment value! |

I do this stuff.... often. Comes from having too much on my plate. My solution would be to walk away and deal with it the morning... I hate having to re-do! |
