Hey, it is finally here! It needs a little mechanical work, but we have someone lined up to do that for us...and...after a very long wait, here is the Gabby Jack Ranch Bus! Now, when we have to get all of the dogs out in a hurry...we can!
Here are bus pictures, with a few of our property tossed in for good measure. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks everyone...I appreciate you being happy for us...it is such a relief to get this...I hope we get it running regularly soon. It is a Compressed Natural Gas vehicle so we don't plan to drive it too much! LOL (Not many filling stations around!)
Thanks Todd...glad you like the place...8 acres, really a beautiful area...we will get a seasonal pond filling up soon. If not for those danged foxtails! If we need the bus before we get the kennels in, we will put seat belts on the seats and...yes, they would get their own seats! haha We plan to ket kennels/crates and fasten them to the walls and floors for stability. Then we will attach an area for food/water storage and have some always on board...rotating the food so it doesn't get stale. The floor actually has big hoops bolted into the floorboards, to secure wheelchairs...we could use those and attach kennels to the hoops. Lots of potential! I love that it has heat and air conditioning...we may get a solar power source in case we need to "camp" in it sometime. I am really stoked! |

WOW Jac, like Todd said - that bus is a lot better than what I was picturing too!! Amazing how you got it for free!!!! It looks absolutely perfect for what you want to do with it.
Couple questions - Are you going to paint like the Gabby Jack Ranch logo on it? And have the doods checked it out? |

That's fantastic news Jac...I'm so happy for you..I know this is a big load off of your minds, in the event you have to evacuate..make sure you put a blow up mattress in there for the two of you too!
