When I was watching hulu.com an ad came on for http://www.puppiesarentproducts.com The site seeks to inform the public about puppy mills and that pet store pups come from puppymills.

I wish they eleborated on 'responsible' breeders - however - they go the rescue a dog route (which I think is great too) but wish they discussed the differences between PM's and responisble breeders. I did think this was a good site describing how price does not mean responsible breeding. On the commercial they showed, it had carton puppies with bar codes on their heads, being scanned and high prices showing up. The puppies would say things like 'I came from a puppymill and my Mom and Dad are still there".
