UPDATE----Surgery Friday

Finally the day is almost here. Won't be able to type for a bit unless it it one handed but then watch out! I can't wait to heal because it has been a year without my wedding ring! I could use some positive energy so my healing will go well. Being diabetic they are worried about infection and slow healing. Just thought I would let you know.

Ah, Kathy, this is a step to feeling well! I will be so happy when your hands don't hurt any more! I know that you are not looking forward to surgery and that the recovery can be tough...but the end result will be fantastic!

Thank you so much! I go in at 7:15 in the morning. It is hard to know it is going to hurt worse before it gets better. I know that that time is short that it will hurt worse (I have been through this twice before on 4 fingers). It helps knowing you all are out there pulling for me.

HI EVERYONE.............i talked extremely briefly to Kathy last night as she was woozy and tired.
and again Today for just 5min she's doing good has some pain when doing as instructed and can't type yet

i'll give a real update later tonight

(I think I either broke or sprained my pinkie finger and typing is PAINFUL! Sooooo I can only imagine how tough it has been for you...heal quickly, the forums need you!)
