END of summer.........QUIET MOMENTS ...Serene

hi everyone! while our summer was quite strange : rainy yet sunny , very rarely hot but all in all a good summer
it's already mid Sept

where does the time go to???

anyway, here's a few shots as i don't want to do a pic overload but i had to share a few pics of
my serene yard along with some wildlife moments

so while i am home waiting to see a surgeon i can say at least i have a "room (or two) with a view"

How many mornings are just before sunrise ( foggy but beatiful)

THE blue heron who usually sits on top of a huge maple tree finally decided to see if any FISH
were in our pool. He kept walking around for about 15min before deciding he should head back to the creek

AND while I and many others do NOT particularly Like SPIDERS i must say the GOLDEN ORB is absolutely beautiful
a shy type of spider and while in past we had HUGE ones , THIS YEAR we have 3 by our front door with their egg cases
above on the soffet. I am NOT going to tell you about Golden ORB spiders, but if you have time do an interne search,
They're NEAT spiders.

PS WHY NOT POST YOUR PICS YOU FIND NEAT OR WOULD LIKE TO SHARE

Well, with the exception of the spider, the pictures are gorgeous! (I just can't find anyting pretty in a spider...sorry...they just creep me out!)

Love the view from your window...so beautiful...and the heron, nice! We get "great blue herons" here and they are the biggest birds I have ever seen...magnificent to watch them in flight...

In Norther California they grow rice so we have a lot of rice fields around...and they are also wildlife preserves so we get some stunning birds migrating through...love to watch them.

Thanks for posting, AM...I have a camera to unload, as soon as I can figure out how... so I'll post soon...(but I am not the photographer you are!)

What a beautiful place to live, annmarie!! It looks like a vacation spot to me!!
Well........I won't get into spiders!

But that one might cause me to let him buy the place for $1.00!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh to the first two pics....eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww to the spider!!!! Sheesh...altho that's an interesting mark on his back to scare away predators...guess I'll have to go look him up!!

I have a few END OF SUMMER ..............QUIET MOMENTS. I hope others will follow through on your request too. This would be very comforting as are your pictures.....BEAUTIFUL!
I'll post a few and then I have some video's to upload from the END of our vacation............all peaceful and cozy.

WOW all the pictures are so gorgeous! Wish I could take pics like that. Tried last night of Issac and Samson playing outside together, wanted to capture Samson doing his Doodle 500 in figure eights around me and Issac - couldn't get the picture - Black doodle + not so bright lighting = horrible pictures for me!

I know what ya mean about black doodle's and pictures..........I have to take 50 to get one that even shows up!!
I just noticed that last one looks like he's peeing!

Oh ......and that's a tennis ball in his mouth!

So here's my end of summer pics...and sheesh..I hate to see it go, but I do love playing in snow!

Mom and Dad went to Cape Elizabeth, Maine right after Hurricane Bill to see the humongous waves...(but they didn't take me...sniff

)

My Mom played 'Chuck-it' with me twice a day..here I am looking for my ball....

Then she had the nerve to go on a sunset cruise out of Rye Harbor,NH to see the fireworks at Hampton Beach...again I was absentia...

and this old boat was still in the harbor...I think it reminds her of someone here on the forum, cause she posts this pic every year...sounds like granmarie????

BUT! Mom and Dad DID take me for a boat ride....I really don't look too happy here, seein as how I missed out on all the other fun stuff..

And in the end I was a happy camper, cause I got to sit up front and help navigate, watchin out for rocks!!!
