I have a friend I have known since I was 9 years old and we loose track of each other once in awhile. It use to be we could call each others parents but her mother has died and her father is in a nursing home. Just before I lost track of her she gave me her sister's number and their cell phone numbers. The problem is my computer crashed and we reformatted it. I did save some things but I can't find that information. She doesn't use the computer much because it intimidates her. Her husband was in a very bad fire and lost a lot of his fingers and they were going to move as soon as they could. so her husband may not easily use the computer and they may not have internet. When I send e-mails they don't come back so I am at a loss. The other thing is my mom that my friend usually calls to find me has moved to my sisters and I haven't ever had a father around. So she can't use her back up phone number to call me.

So I am on a search for my longest best friend in the whole world and I just need you to keep your fingers crossed that I can either find her phone numbers, they answer my e-mails, or she misses me enough to call. I know she has a much busier life than I do but maybe she will find me? I can't tell you how much I miss her. She makes me feel confident and knows how to make me laugh in a way only a long, long friend can (45 years).

Best of luck finding your best friend Kathy!!! If you'd like to pm me with info, I'd be glad to help in the search...I was adopted and found my Mom in 3 months flat, along with 4 brothers...plus researched and wrote a book on geneology on my grandmothers side..so I'm pretty good at finding people!!!

Kathie and everyone I found and talked to her. After writing to you all I thought I would do a search of my computer for phone numbers. I had saved he number and my computer found it. I called her and we just finished talking for a half an hour. She has been in Oregon and just got home. They have been very busy and are not very computer knowledgeable, so they don't use it much for e-mails. I gave her my address and phone number and I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is what I do, since I often lose things...I make a computer list of names/addresses...and email a copy to myself! LOL I save it in my email account that I can reach even if my documents crash.
