The HEAT is sure messin' with my days

It's so horribly hot and humid here that even sitting in the yard is awful.
I know that many of you in different parts of the country are even under worse heat conditions.
After out threads on heat stroke etc for doodles.......I am overly cautious about Bogart, even if water is available at all times.

I could take him mall walking, but that just gets me in financial trouble!

I'm looking to borrow a neighbor dog for the basement! That shouldn't be too hard and I'll just have to periodically run them up the stairs and out the back door to do their biz.

OR......a trip to the lake this evening might be in order.
Ya know........ya look forward to summer........but this is too much! Cheese with my WHINE??

Wind blowin like crazy, overcast and quite cool!

They're saying this is the summer that wasn't!.,.,at least here in the northeast!

CAN ya send the heat and sunshine here? we've had almost 3 weeks of rain!! no sooner does it get hot
then it cools down . i have a sweatshirt or jacket on, then change into a tank top then a jacket again
it's crazy!!!

That's the way it WAS here. You should be getting some of this coming your way.
I seriously had to figure out what to do with Bogart today. So, I took him to Verizon Wireless with me to get my bluetooth replaced...........then to the pharmacy to just look around........

FUN DAY!!

We have been going here for Buffalo Burgers lately!
They LOVE dogs there too! The entire place has framed pictures of 100's upon 100's of dogs!
They want me to enter Bogart in the "Dog of the Month" club!!

Their food is mostly wild game llike venison, buffalo etc.........it's a reallly cool spot!

Afterward, we stopped and ran Bogart behind the school for about 20 minutes. It was getting dark......but it had finally cooled down. He sooooooo needed to RUN!!
Turned out to be an okay day.

YIPEEEEEEE! It's only suppose to reach 80 degrees today!...........only 70 now.
Right now, Bogart is playing with Finn in the yard. He should be pooped out for Church tonight and out to dinner!!

well do you mind giving it back.?!?

it was in the 40's this morning

and windy.......we had on fall jackets to keep warm today
and it's 56 degrees right now.
hmmmmmmmmmm i know someone is holding back......so come forward and hand it over---> my summer weather please

Sorry! It's a tad cooler here, but not by much. You can share..........I'll give you 10 degrees warmer. Then we can all be happy!

It has been over 100....102,3,4,5 for days and days.
I worked outside in it all day yesterday....but today, I am staying inside.
Whatever did I do without AC years ago......I couldn't get used to that again and live here.

OK, OK....I'll send you some heat soon! I'll say good riddens to it!!
My youngest doodle, Nellie and Lilah played in the "whelping/baby" pool yesterday filled with cool water and their toy balls, etc....
They had a blast...but wanted to come in fairly quickly....to lay wet on the kitchen floor and cool off.
It was a slippery mess...but worth it.

We have had a wet spring and summer so far .Usually Calgary is more dry and hot. I am not nuts about the rain all the time, but I must say I do like the temp in the summer more around the 25 degree C as opposed to 30.
