SO SAD!.....a little Dove!

OMYGOSH! I am writing this with tears!
Yesterday, for God only knows WHAT reason, Walt started hanging one of our many bird feeders on a stupid hanger on the garage.
It fell about 4 times from squirrels jumping on it.

I asked him to please put it somewhere else.

Well.....as I was sitting here typing, I heard the feeder fall again on to the cement.
I thought, "OH WELL!"

Then Walt comes home about 5 minutes later and finds the feeder on the ground...........picks it up and sees that it has landed on a Dove and killed it!!

The poor thing was just feeding from the fallen seed on the driveway when a stupid squirrel jumpedon the feeder and BAM! It landed on the Dove and killed it.
I am soooooooo UPSET!! I wonder what it's mate will do now!

I am so sorry!!! Just know that now nothing can harm it and it is in a much better place.
