After reading about Charlie Bears foot pad injury, and numerous other injuries over the course of the past 3 yrs., I thought it might benefit everyone if we all had a first aid kit specifically for our Doodles...I found this website on line and thought I'd share...I think I'll put together a kit, maybe in a big plastic container that would be immediately handy if I needed it..instead of scrambling around looking for stuff..I'll also bring it it the car when I take Raleigh to the Bark Park...just in case..because you never know....of course this doesn't replace a Vet or his advice, but it should be good in an emergency...
I'm also going to put a list of poisons and poisonous plants in the kit...along with the ASPCA Hotline: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-co ... -2008.html I've used the hotline before when Raleigh ate a whole pack of gum.. I also had to cough up $60, but it was worth it...as soon as I got him to eat some yogurt with a tablespoon of Hydrogen peroxide in it, ...up it all came, and he was none the worse for wear! http://www.dog-first-aid-101.com/dog-fi ... plies.html
