Yep! That's what we have!
It is now over 90 degrees and we are suppose to stay indoors...especially tomorrow. I have tried to get out and walk Bogart 3 times today and can't seem to get past the front steps! It's like a furnace! If we don't get our exercise......it's grumpy around here. What's it like for you where you live? This seems to be covering much of the USA today and tomorrow! Summer is definitely here!

We have had some COLD nights here! 30 degrees at 7 am yesterday. Right now at 68 degrees...2pm.
I had a 1 hr. step/strength training class from 8-9 am, THEN took my dogs to the lake for another hour and let them drag ME around the lake, alternating with fetching from the lake. I am SO sore, tired, wah, wah, wah!......I need to take an alieve & a nap, but have to clean all the mud out of the back of my SUV before my hubby gets home! Tuesday just came in heat and if I don't get in a bunch of exercise before she starts "accepting applications", she will be impossible to live with. during that week she will be limited to the yard with a frizbee! When the heat hits here, I just do our walking thing first thing in the morning....after my coffee of course!! |

Hahahahaha...I've been whining about 'where the heck is spring' and now summer..,.,,.we've had rain every day for the past two weeks with a few exceptions.,..,temps in the low to mid 70's during the day, and 50's at nite...BUT after this ocean storm passes (which is Thursday supposedly) we'll be hitting hi 80's low 90's with humidity...ugh...then I can start whining about that until the snow returns...then the whine cycle repeats itself!!!

Beautiful weather here! It has been pretty warm during the day, high 80s, but cools off so nicely at night...
I don't envy you the 90+ temps! Last summer (and probably this summer in August or September) we had about 2 weeks of 115 degrees! And the dogs were pretty miserable...I kept them wet and, since they are in the barn (more like a studio or loft, but with a cement floor, stays pretty cool) I kept the floor wet too...so they would take lots of naps on the wet floor! Hope that it eases a bit for you... |

It's been in the mid to upper 90's here this week. It's been raining too, so the humidity is up along with that. We're under high heat warnings and the county has decided to do patch work on the road out front. I don't envy those guys at all!!
We take our walks and do the yard work early in the morning, but it's still warm at that time. The rest of the day we stay inside and Cin stays on the tile floor on squirrel patrol in the back yard. We have a sliding glass door she can watch out of without getting up. |
