Hi! I have a black dogs too. Photos are hard with black dogs. What does the best for me is as much natural light as possible. At night I use all the lights I can get before using the flash and I set my camera to night or indoors. I just thought I would share that. You probably know this but just in case I thought I would share. I am glad you are part of our wonderful bunch of doodles and people.
