Hi! We just got our first Labradoodle last week. We are absolutely in LOVE! His name is Hudson, and he has been such a great puppy and is oh so smart! Thanks for all of the great info on this forum!

Welcome Hudson and Angie!!!!!! You will love it here! Hudson is a very handsome boy! Such a face! I am sure you will find our post about the intruder. The intruder loves to visit puppies! Look under stories about our labradoodles! It will help you get through the naughty things you might think Hudson does!

Not my sweet, innocent Hudson!! ( ). We have an old Beagle who still gets into lots of stuff (mostly chapstick, crayons, and food), so we'll just have to blame it on her or the "intruder".

Congratulations on Hudson. He looks so cute in the snow. I noticed you said your "first" Labradoodle. Hudson may be your first, and in a few months you could end up with a second (or third!) doodle in your family! They are so lovable, many people cannot stop at just one.

Have fun and keep us updated on Hudson's antics.

So True! I keep wishing we could afford another but that won't be for awhile. They are addicting! The addiction is stronger because the owners on this forum are Wonderful. Have fun!

You are right- I think saying "our first" was a subconcious thing- I've already thought about how much I would like another!! Everybody who meets him loves him.

Thanks for all of the welcomes and hellos!

Angie, if you think you love Hudson now, wait until you've owned him for a year or more. They get better and better as their wonderful personalities develop. Welcome by the way. You've joined a group of slightly mad but really delightful doodle nuts. I think you are going to fit in rather nicely.

Look who's calling the Kettle Black

I think Hudson just answered another thread on this forum...He's perfectly happy in his own winter coat
If he starts packing snow in his paws there are lot's of suggestions in the archives for boots. Remember Rule #1 A TIRED DOODLE....Well you' learn MAD WHO'S MAD
