I have a Mac and the mouse that came with it can be programmed for both left clicks and right clicks. Select System Preferences under the Apple menu. Then click on the Keyboard & Mouse Preference under Hardware. That's where you can change how your mouse works.

Semi is so laid back that people never believe us when we tell them she is still a puppy. But we keep her well exercised and I think many people just don't work off their energy enough. These are working dogs from both sides so they need to work off their energy. And they are smart, so without training they are going to get into mischief.

But I have met many people who have out of control dogs of ALL breeds. The best advice I got on this forum is that a tired puppy is a happy puppy!!

Can't wait to see pics of her. WELCOME!!

She is a cutie! Congratulations!

BTW I also have a mac with the standard mac mouse. No need to right or left click in photobucket. Just click the whole mouse on the IMG code (I believe it is the last one of four below your picture) and it will say copied, then all you have to do is paste (command V) into your post.

Love your new puppy pic. Gracie is very cute. I think Cissy pretty much summed the whole thing up. I feel confident you are going to love her to pieces just like the rest of us.

Poor groomers..... (I seriously don't envy any of them)

Start your puppy off on Day 1 with a little brushing when they are tired (right before bed). Dim the lights and talk soft -- keep it short (only for a couple of minutes) and very SLOW (pup will just chew and want to play) but they will catch on quicker than you think if you repeat it EVERY night.

It takes patience ....

Before you know it, they'll expect that special time from you. Groomers will think your pup is a treat (as doodles are known to kiss the groomers to death if you get them used to being touched and brushed while they're young).

You are in for a fur-ball TREAT !!! Congratulations !!!!! Stick around, we have a lot of fun here (especially with the new babies).

Welcome Val,
Gracie is a cutie pie!
Hmmm, I think that it sounds like your groomer may be against mixed breed dogs...that is common.
I can't speak for all Doodles, but my puppies are remarkably mellow and grow into mellow adults. So, as the others have said, if you are consistent with the training, you will have a great dog. If you don't train your pup, you can expect trouble. But this is true with all breeds.
You might want to consider a different groomer...or at least ask around.
I had a groomer actually contact me to buy one of my puppies because she found them to be wonderful dogs...she has her pup (now almost a year old) loose in ther shop and just loves him to pieces!

Ditto what Jac Said
i would for sure find another groomer that isnt prejudice
She obviously had no idea about Doodles and i would be concerned she would not treat well
that is just one beautiful puppy!!!

Welcome Val and congrats on your new fur baby. Ollie is 11 months old. He has his goofy moments, but I would not describe him as hyper at all. It is true as others have said, Labradoodles do need exercise (as do all dogs really or they get bored). One of the reasons that we chose a labradoodle is for temperment. Most that I know are fairly calm. They have goofy senses of humour and are very smart. Start training early, and be consistant and you will have a nice puppy. Our groomer loves our doodle. I think that in most cases your doodle like any breed is as good as the attention that he or she gets.

Have fun with your new puppy.
