Default Hi from Ann and Charlie in NZ

Charlie is 14 weeks old....at the moment he has lovely chocolate fleece, tho that seems to be changing (I've got a Q in the owners' question section). We live near Wellington and I got him from a breeder about 6 hours away (there are only 2 or 3 'professional' breeders that I could find out here) when he was 8 wks. He loves people....even more than food, so I guess the Lab part of him isn't dominant! He's very smart, sometimes he outsmarts me, but he's done 3 wks at puppy kindy and we've just started puppy obedience class which he thinks is great fun. His main 'crime' is being very mouthy, so I'm working hard on that....if anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them.

It's lovely reading about other people's doodles, and sharing their experiences on the forum...I'm sure I'm going to learn a lot. Sorry I have no photo yet...I'm not very technical, so will have to pin one of the kids down to do it for me (or even better, teach me how to do it!) Ann and Charlie

Welcome Ann and Charlie to the wonderful world of Doodles, and this terrific forum!!! Another New Zealander,,,how awesome!! As soon as you learn how to post pics, I'm sure everyone here would love to see not only Charlie, but pics from another part of the world that most of us have not ever seen!!! In the General Discussion area, there are instructions on how to post pictures...me, myself and I find using Photobucket the easiest! Just a quick lesson:
1. Register yourself on Photobucket (it's free)
2. Upload your pics
3. After the pics are loaded, look under each pic, and you'll see 4 options...
4. Click on the IMG code, which 'copies' the pic and in your reply here in the forum, right click and hit 'paste'

Hit the preview button on the bottom of the screen to see if that's the pic you want or like, then submit...
That's all there is to it!

These are photos of Charlie... good job my kids are more computerate than me!
He weighed approx 8KGs when these were taken. Funny, he looks so angelic in the photos....!!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome, and for the help with the photos...I will have to investigate that when I've more time, but got my daughter to put them on this time. When (if?) the rain ever stops (absolutely bucketing down, but then it's a holiday weekend, so what can we expect?!) I'll take some photos against local scenery, cos we live just over the road from the beach and opposite a beautiful island called Kapiti....we've only been in NZ for 3yrs (we're English) but we are very proud of our coastline!

ohhhhhhhh Anne ,Charlie is gorgeous and i love chocolate mmmmmmmmm

(for cissy 2.2kg =1 lb....so 8 kg means Charlie weighs approx 17-18lbs)

OH there are a few other NZ'ers here along with UK etc and we LOVE seeing pics of your doodles and scenery
and as Kiwidoodle stated never a dull moment here , lots of info and tons of laughter too.
