Default New in Nova Scotia

I've already talked to quite a few of you in my hunt for a labradoodle, but just today we were able to find out which puppy we're getting from our breeder (though she won't be shipped to us for another two weeks ) so I thought I'd say hello and post some pictures the breeder has sent us. She's an F1, but the breeder says she thinks she'll grow up to have a curly coat.

Isn't she gorgeous?? I love how fluffy she is. We're thinking of calling her Winnie, but nothing is definite until we meet her.

She's so pretty!

It's an agonising wait isn't it, but the best feeling when she's home and with you! THEN THE FUN BEGINS!

Thanks guys! A lot of you have really helped me through a lot of things in the hunt for this dog, and I appreciate it. And yes, I think it's actually harder to wait now that I know exactly what she looks like. I will most definitely be posting more pictures as soon as we get her home, since I know she'll have changed quite a bit by then, and more as she gets older. I look forward to the time when I get to post in the "puppy to full grown" post and everyone can see how her coat turns out. It's kind-of fun getting an F1, not really being sure what her coat will turn out like.

We're most likely going to name her Winnie, but we haven't decided for sure. We've tossed around TONS of names, especially since we've had so long, and I kind-of think Sugar would be a cute name with her being so white and all (call her Shug for short), but I think we brought it down to two we could agree on.....Roxy or Winnie. And Doug definitely seems to prefer Winnie. But she looks like a cuddly little bear, right? lol

Oops, sorry, I just went back and reread the post and you said you were thinking of Winnie. I was so intent on looking at her adorable pic that I missed it.

I think Winnie is a lovely name for a lovely girl.

Oh, Winnie is just darling!

I'm so glad you got your chance to post pictures! Its a great feeling! I think Winnie suits her too. Its a very nice name.

You are so right about the wait.............. but it will be soooo worth it.

You now have plenty of time to get everything ready for her arrival.

Keep posting those pictures as she grows.

She is just darling! (How can you stand the wait until she arrives???)

And I LOVE your choice of a name! (Here's why... We recently lost our dear cat, her name was WINNIE. She was a feral cat who we took in when she was about 4 years old (according to my vet). Winnie was a tiny little girl, only weighing in at about 5 lbs. She turned out to be the most loving, gentle, wonderful cat. Once we brought her into the house, she never once tried to get out. She was a happy housecat for the rest of her life...and we had her for 18 years! So we figure she was at least 22 years old when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. So to me, the name Winnie means a happy, healthly, sweet, long-lived wonderful little girl. My Winnie would be honored to share her name with your baby girl, should you choose to name her that.)
