Hi everyone! I've been lurking here for a little while and have learned so much valuable information, I've decided to join in.
I live in central Florida.....Daytona area. I'm a fairly new doodle owner. We've had golden retrievers and a chocolate lab in the past. We just lost our sweet golden to cancer in April and to be honest, I had no intention of getting another dog, at least not so soon, but I was starting to miss having a big dog in the house. We have a 2 year old Havanese/Lhasa mix. On what would have been our golden's 7th birthday, I found our Riley online and just knew in my heart that it was right. I didn't even have to convince DH as he was feeling the same way. He had even said that our lab was the best dog ever and he wouldn't mind another except for all the hair. Riley is now 4 months and she's just the sweetest dog. I've really enjoyed being home with her this summer. I'm a school nurse, so it'll be back to work in another month, but for now we're enjoying our time together. Looking forward to learning lots more from everyone! |

Hi!
I'm sorry for your loss, it's terrible to see our best friends in pain. Looks like your new little one is helping you through it. Post lots of pics when you can
