Hi from London

Hi

My name is Bella and I'm owned by an F1b Labradoodle called Mabel, who was 10 months old yesterday. Right now she's half way through her first and only season and is not at all happy about her much reduced freedom. Thankfully it will only be for another 10 days or so.

Her Dad Alfie was a KC regsitered cream standard poodle, her Mum is an F1 black labradoodle. Both had excellent hip, elbow and eye scores so hopefully it gives Mabel a fighting chance against HD, which I must say I do worry about.

Sadly Alfie, her Dad, was hit and killed by a motobike last month. He was only 2

Mabel is from Dorset, which is about a 3 hour drive from London. 6 hour round trips between picking her out of the litter at 5 days old and the final trip to bring her home at 9 weeks were full of happy memories, despite the length of journey. Most of the litter of 7 are still in the Dorset area. One was returned to the breeder after being attacked by the older dog in the house so the breeder decided not to risk a bad rehoming experience for little Peggy and kept her

We have 2 cats, Stanley-man and Jessie-Moo, brother and sister tabbies. Both are 12 and have taken Mabels arrival all in their stride. They were our main concern getting a dog and were one of the major reason we chose a doodle. We did not hear a single bad story about Doodles integrating into a cat household.

I will add pictures later. I tried but I'm not used to Shutterfly and Photobucket is acting up a bit for me.

Bella is adorable, I'm Bella.

Mabel is the doodle. Thanks for the laugh. It's been a long day at work and I needed it.
