Hi Doodle People!
I just wanted to intro myself and the new guy! I just got my doodle this morning. He's 5 months old and a chocolate 1FB. His first home couldn't keep him and he was taken back to the breeder. My husband named him Joffy and it suits him. He's goofy, sweet, and seems quite smart. I am totally in love with him already. Dot & Joffy & Annabelle Frances the French Bulldog

Thanks for the words of welcome! My Annabelle doesn't quite know what to make of the new guy. We had to put our 13 YO Samoyed down last week, so I think she's still freaked out by losing her buddy. We had no intention of getting a new dog this quickly, but he Joffy seemed so perfect, I couldn't turn him down!
He's just napping now- He had a 5 hour car ride to Indy this morning, so I think he's pooped. Here's a link to my GMAIL photos- I hope it works. I'm a bit tired out myself! http://picasaweb.google.com/dwwhite73/Joffy

Thanks all!
I think I lucked out! He is rather like Fozzie Bear. He's about 45 pounds and the breeder thinks he may get up to 80-85. He has HUGE Lab feet. I have to say (18 hours in) I am so impressed with this dog! I've had a lot of experince with different types of dogs. Collies, labs, sled dogs, bulldogs, but this is by far the most interesting pup I have ever encountered. I can't even for the word for it-It's more than intelligence-There is a weird sensitivity to him. I look forward to seeing how he turns out! Sorry if I sound a tad wacky. It has been a long week!

Hi and welcome from Melinda, Tony(husband), Jack (son), Max (the big one) and Rocky(last, but definitely not least). I completely understand what you mean about the sensitivity issue. Max is almost human, I swear. He can look at you and you know exactly what he is thinking. Rocky "talks" to us with him many types of barks. He likes for me to fight his battles for him.
You are going to LOVE your doodle - I must, I have 2. Max is 80 lbs and his feet are HUGE Everyone we meet comments on his size and beauty(sorry, I couldn't resist). Good luck with the puppy.
