Introducing Gromit!
Hi! I've been lurking for a week or so and couldn't resist answering some questions SO I thought I should maybe introduce myself and delurk fully!
My Name is Beth and (as you might have guessed) my husband is Dale. We have 4 children ages 4 -10 and we adopted a 6mo old standard F1b labradoodle last month from Jac at Back Porch Labradoodles here in CA. We are having a great time with Gromit and are thinking that it might not be a bad idea to get another Dood sooner rather than later! Here are some pictures of Gromit in the first week that we had him home.

Hi Beth, Welcome to Doodville!! Gromit is an interesting name and good looking doodle. Very lool coloringAnd so is web name......Dales1stWife...Does that mean you know who his 2nd is???

Vicky - definitely related, Gromit's parents are Lexie and Chase also. Greg - running family joke, along the same lines as, "Well, my first wife always said..." Of course then we have some friends who divorced and then married each other again so they can really play with people's minds!

Gromit is very handsome and you cane be sure he's from good lineage if he's from the 'Gabby Jack Ranch Pack'! (Couldn't resist Jac!) Where in California are you? Are you coming to our Davis romp on the 5th of April?? We'd love to meet you and Gromit! I've been trying to talk Jac into bringing the first-time daddy!

Hope you can make it to the romp!!! My husband always introduces himself as my "current husband" He also talked me into signing my paintings with only my first and middle name. (PS- Although he isn't my first, we are going on 17 yrs. of marriage )

We are actually in Southern California so we probably won't drive the 6 hours to Davis for the Romp there.
 I am aiming for the Romp in Huntington Beach but we will see how that goes since Dale will be returning from a business trip that weekend. Hmmm... maybe I can have him go from the airport and meet us at the Romp
