My name is Mark & my wife is Krystal .Our Chloe is our 4 month multi-generational pup & is allready the best dog Ive ever had . My wife has never been a big dog lover but Chloe has changed that, she is her constant companion as she works from home. She is so much like having another child & so easy to love.

Hi Julie B. , using the formula we read on the forum Chloe may be between 40 & 50 lbs. The breeder predicts 40 lbs because her mom had issues during pregnancy & Chloe was the runt & had the best disposition .At 4 1/2 months she is 20.2 lbs & 17 inches at the shoulder. her parents were between 65 & 70 lbs.It seem that unless she has a big growth spurt we will be close, she is our 1st doodle & 1st pup. She has been very easy to train & incredibly smart ,everything we read about doodles was true

Hi! Stella is nearly 9 months old and around 55 lbs. Based on her parents, the breeder said she'd be around 45-55. I have a feeling it will be more like 60-65 (which is fine because I like big dogs
Not so good with uploading pics. Obviously you've got it down but I'm tech challenged. Get back with you!! |

You are supposed to take the weight of the pup at 14 weeks (I have also read 16 wks), double it, and then add 10 lbs.
Somewhere between the doubled weight & the amount with the 10lbs added, is supposed to be the adult weight. I have found this to be very accurate & now contact the guardian homes with my pups & request a weight at this time.... There is also a formula for height, but I will have to dig it up... With early generations, it is very interesting, with dogs going back even 6 generations affecting size. I recently had 2 litters produced from pups I produced. Each litter had a true "runt", a pup that will truly be a small dog, with some pups in the litter that will be very big... realize now that I will have to do more research on the one line I had questions about! Check out "Tom Thumb".....and he will stay small.
