Long time no see!

Hello! It's been a long time, but I wanted to stop by and say Hi to all the old timers who might remember me. I see quite a few familiar faces still around.

I'm still having my usual 3 litters per year, so have just put up a nice Kennel to keep my babies comfy year-around and make my work a lot easier.

Each dog has their own inside run in a heated building with in-floor heat beneath ceramic tiles to keep them toasty and be simple to clean for me. Each run has a doggy door in a service door which leads outside to their own large outdoor run. At the end of each outdoor run is a gate so I can let them out in pairs or groups to exercise and play together. Now that I've got the dogs inside, i don't know how I ever managed without the kennel! Hubby had the gret idea of attaching it to our back porch so I am remodeling the porch into an office and can go from inside the house to inside the kennel without ever stepping outside. I love it and the dogs have settled in nicely too.

I was concerned about how they would take to doggy doors, but they act like they've always had them. Not one of them has done their dirty deed inside, so that alone is a huge relief!

It was 11 degrees here last night, so my new Kennel building is a God-send right now. No more worry about frozen water, cold dogs, or having to bundle up like an eskimo to go check on them. LOL I feel so spoiled.
