Hello, I'm Katie and I live in Christchurch East, New Zealand.
Our family of 5 survived the quake (although one of us was trapped for a while) and we are now adding a little post quake comfort to our lives. Our little labradoodle will be 8 weeks old on the 19th June. We used to have a labradoodle, before they were common. In fact ours was just called a poodle cross! Mum was a pedigree lab who bred award winning hunting dogs. Dad was the standard poodle from the end of the lane....oh dear! Barney was a wonderful dog, impossible to say just how wonderful he was. He worked as a therapy dog, he was our best friend, I cannot say enough good things about him. He died aged 15 almost 3 years ago. We were devastated. I cannot wait for our little friend to arrive. The whole family is going out to visit him this Saturday, and meet mum, dad and granny as well. Great to meet you all and to find people who are going to be as excited about our little chap as we are! Katie. |

WELCOME!!
OMYGOSH! Thank God you are okay! Being trapped awhile sounds just awful. Oh.......Barney! I know the pain. 15 years old! WOW! I hope that with all the new nutrition and knowledge that Bogart makes it that long. I'm so sorry for your loss and look forward to seeing your new pup!!
