Hello!
I'm from the UK and am owned by 2 doodles - fudgey is a lovely choccy scruffy F1b - she's not very big by UK standards (just 20" tall but is not a 'mini') and scrumpy is our pup - she'll likely be bigger than fudgey and is an F2, we live in the new forest with our 2 ancient burmese cats. I also do homechecking and fostering for the Labradoodle Trust - which is the UK rescue for labradoodles, I'm organising a fun dog show for the south of england to raise some funds for the trust, and have just finished putting together the Labradoodle Rescue calendar for 2010 - all photos of doodles owned by members of Doodle Times (which is a really good labradoodle chat forum based in the UK) Anyways, less of my prattling, here's some pics - and if you get a chance have a look at www.labradoodletrust.com (and am going to be really cheeky and put some info on about our show - just in case you have UK members and they've not heard about it Mia x fudgey, maisey & bentley (bentley & maisey are two of fudgey's doodle friends) ![]() my gorgeous fudgey holidaying in cornwall last year ![]() little scrumpy in the garden with her big sis

thanks Annemarie
I was in New York at the start of the month, what an amazing place you live in! Wish we'd met before - we wanted to take home some fancy new york sparkly collars for fudgey & scrumps, and really struggled finding a petshop in NY, but eventually found one near bloomingdales. I'll have to put a pic on of them modelling their "I (heart) NY" collars

Hello!! And welcome to the forum!!
Quote:
I was born in Southern England (many, many, many years ago...I'm an Air Force brat!!) I would love to go there again some day. Without digging out my birth certificate.....I have this picture my mom recently gave me... ![]() On the back she wrote..... " Little Park House, Brimpton...I think in Maidenhead The caretaker told me it was Queen Victoria's retreat. It used to have flowers all around & was well groomed. Some kind of pond on the left, in his time.. He said people would come to view it, on tours or something." We lived on the bottom flat. Kind of spooky looking! I have tried to find info on line about it but had no luck. Do you know if it still exists?

that's an amazing photo!!!! and how very interesting
I've no idea whether it still exists or not, but you might try having a look on 'google earth' if you have a postal code or better address? Maidenhead is about 1 1/2 hours away from us, but it's another really beautiful part of the country thanks again everyone for your kind comments, we're starting at puppy class tonight with scrumpy, so wish us luck!
