Default Meet Duncan

Hi all,
Just joined this forum and would like to introduce you to my labradoodle puppy Duncan. He's 4 1/2 months old and a total clown. Can't believe how smart he is. Housetraining was a breeze, we know "sit" "stay" "down" "come" and now almost got the hang of "drop it". I introduced him to the treadmill yesterday (it's been raining for days here in NYC) and he jumped right on. Our only real issue is his not enjoying being left alone. I work from home and he's so used to being right next to me. The longest i've left him is 2 hours. His crying and barking isn't lasting as long so I think he's getting used to it. He loves to travel in the car. We go to the park almost every day. He's so friendly to other dogs and kids. Although he was afraid of a 3lb teacup yorkie. I'm attaching some pics of him. I have so many nicknames for this pooch it isn't funny.....Dunkachino, Dun-clown, Dunkster, Duncaroni.

Thanks for letting me share!

WELCOME Duncan and Duncan's mom/dad!!
Duncan is so darn cute!! I mean he is like a teddy bear! I just want to hug him!!
It sounds like he is really doing very well!! Doodle's Do ya know.....they DO!! :P
Looking forward to more stories of Duncan. NYC is a great place to have a dog. There's a doggie day care on Greenwich and Duane that I use to walk by all the time when I visited my son. Have you thought about dropping him off somewhere when you need to?
Also, sooooo many restaraunts let them in. It's a pretty dog friendly city! ENJOY!

Duncan is a multigen....both his parents are aussie labradoodles.
The other day a woman stopped her car because she thought he was fake. I keep hearing that he looks like a teddy bear or a muppet. Fozzie bear. I am planning to introduce him to Camp Bow Wow which is a great doggie day care near me. I think he needs to gain some independence from me since we're together so much. He loves chaos. Ha Ha. So lots of dogs and play would be perfect for him. Today he stole a chicken nugget from my nephew and I tried so hard to reprimand him but all i could do was giggle as he scurried downstairs with the stolen goods. He's sleeping over his "cousin's" house on Saturday. It will be his first night away from home. I just hope he behaves.

Thanks everyone for welcoming us.

Duncan's Mom, Sally

Welcome Duncan and Mom,
He is just adorable!! We aren't far from each other. I frequently go down to the city to visit my son, and I've been thinking of bringing Seamus on one of my next trips. Perhaps we can meet up at some park! I think you'll enjoy this group of great people, who also happen to be crazy over their doodles!!
