this is a link to a recent thread on our dogs' sizes/weights/ages...it might give you some clues. I've just checked Charlie and he's 19"/31 lbs/7 mths

My Winnie is six months old now and looks to be quite a bit smaller than Noodles. At her last weigh in she was about 45 lbs. I would think Noodles is definitely older, but I'm no expert. I guess it depends on what side of "six months" we're talking, too, since they grow so fast. Winnie is just a few days shy of officially being six months, so if Noodles is closer to seven, maybe that's the difference.
Anyway, can't wait to see more pictures of him! He looks adorable!

HI and Welcome LOVEMYDOGS ~ NOODLES is sooooo cute and i can see that he'll have the 1001 comical expressions like Elmo does
(Elmo lives in England)

Noodles ....will be curious to see his final height and weight. And also see updated pics when you get time.
Max at 2.5yrs old is 26in tall , 80#
Peanut at 2yrs old 22.5in tall, 68# (built like a tank tho)

Glad to have you on board.........your GSD's are absolutely GORGEOUS and you're right about american slopes
many GSD's i know are k9's a few used as watchdogs....in fact years ago one bit me in the butt when trying to go after someone else
luckily being a teenager at the time, i had a comb in my back pocket saved alot of skin being ripped off
never scared me off from GSD's .....while they're not like doodles some are quite friendly others being more 'aloof' as you put it.

i love GSD's ...my allergies don't though

NOODLES sounds like he's fitting right in quite fine.......oh wait he hasn't eaten paper nakpings? or swallowed good panties or socks?
i'm sure with proper training he will eventually

actually, you'll find NOODLES will LOVE training! and his easy care coat will be a breeze to keep.
PEANUT is a goldendoodle like elmo they're fleece coats are thick, nice, dont' shed but can matt
Max a LD is easy as pie and dries in about 25min and takes minutes to trim up his beard.

Sounds like you're a busy gal and glad you had time to join and learn More about doodles........even though you're getting 1sthand
experiences at the moment. i have yet to see a doodle not win the hearts of humans, other dogs, cats and horses.

Welcome to the forum. Noodles is a cutie, I hope we get to see a picture of him with a happy face too. Your shepherds look great. I had GSD's for about 30 yrs and loved them, mine were all good natured, friendly dogs and loved to work.

My home owners insurance will not cover me if I own certain breeds of dogs, shepherds are now on that list, so when I was ready to get another dog I researched different breeds, checked shelters and decided on a Labradoodle. I am very happy with my decision

Sadie is nothing like my shepherds were, but they are all great in their own ways. Sadie is so comical, that I must say, I laugh out loud at her at least once a day. She is anxious to please and seems to learn quickly. She is a clothes thief but so far has not eaten any like some on here have LOL.. it's more of a chase me and try to catch me with it type game for her. One day I saw her trot out of the kitchen with a hand towel, I decided to ignore her with it to see what she would do. A few minutes later she came to me with it in her mouth, as if to say 'look what I have, don't you want to chase me to get it back?"

I would guess Noodles to be closer to 1 yr old than 6 mos. Sadie is 8 mos old, 24 ins high and 66 lbs. Here is a recent picture of her to see her size. Not the best picture, she is standing on a 4 1/2 foot high snowbank on my patio, I took it through the window
