Tia's face reminds me of Trixi's, but I am so used to her having her hair sheered that it's hard for me to remember when her hair was longer. The hair on her ears is the same length as the rest of her hair. I like to see it longer on the ears though; it's a girl thing! As far as her weight goes, Trixi spends a lot of time bounding around the fields here. She likes to be outdoors doing her own thing provided someone else is outdoors. My husband spends a lot of time outside maintaining the house and his gadgets. He also takes her for some longer hikes.

brownie....i relayed this story to Dave (my fiance) about Trixie and must say he was both touched and giggling by your story...thanks for sharing
and wow TRIXIE does look alot like a lab when she's trimmed down. Peanut is a f1 goldendoodle and has many similar traits to LD's: doodle 500 runs, laying on back with paws in air, steals napkins HOWEVER she's also built like a tank thus her nickname is princess TANK-A-Doodle hahaha she's like have a golden retriever that doesn't shed, looks more like a polar bear and is goofy and friendly as can be. They also can be very calm dogs once they hit around 12mos old but quite energetic puppies. GREAT PICS!!! trixie is so cute

Hi to Trixi and Brownie. This is a great place to read all about Doodles! I've laughed and giggled lots over the antics of these dogs. We waited a long time before we got Mr. D. (Who looks like Linda's Bogart!) and have now added the Goldendoodle into the mix. They are so funny and what personalities! How did we ever live without them? I've had dogs get skunked before and am glad we moved into town! I can't imagine these two letting the opportunity to meet a skunk go by. After all, it has 4 legs and looks like a fun toy! We've had a problem with skunks in town but thank goodness for the 8 foot privicy fence around the backyard. I'm just real careful where I take them at night! Have fun! Sharon
