Hello
I have been lurking around in this site off and on for some time and finally decided I just had to join the fun. We have 2 Doodles now. Our first is Mr Doodles, an almost 3 year old adopted from the SPCA when he was about 5-6 months old. He came into our home and did what few other dogs could do and won over our old Rottie. Unfortunatly, due to age and health we recently had to have our old girl put down. We had no intentions of getting a new dog for awhile, if at all but saw this litter of Goldendoodles and fell in love. The long and the short of it is that we are now housebreaking a pup in the middle of a cold central PA winter. Where was my head? But who could say no to that little golden ball of fluff! He is now about 4 months old and I have experienced a doodle 500...many times over! Not to mention all the other "stuff" that goes with having a new baby in the house! We are so in love with these 2 guys. We just hope Mr. D will teach Rascal the good things he knows! I love reading the posts and hope I too can contribute. I've gotten some good information from all of you. I will try to post some photos of thse guys if I can get them to hold still long enough to get more than a blur! Okay, so I need to figure out the camera and how to post photos

Welcome Mr Doodle, Rascal and family - this is a really good place to be, especially if you've been adopted by a bouncy doodle baby!

Do you perchance live in Michigan? I recall running into someone awhile ago who named their doodle Mr. Doodle.

Welcome to the forum!!!!
Everything will be okay....3 years old is a good age. Training your pup should be easy, these guys learn quick! Now if both your dogs were young....... All my mom & dad's family are from the Pottsville, Minersville area of PA. We only got to live there for about a year as my dad was in the AF, but what I remember of PA is that it was so beautiful...and the winters were cold and snowy!

Hi sebp2, glad you finally decided to take the plunge and join!!!! You wouldn't be a 'hooligan' now would you???? We love them around here, as you can see, if you've been following the forum for awhile....posting pics is pretty easy..along with creating avatars....most folks set up an account and use Photobucket which is free...after you upload your pics to photobucket, all you have to do is choose the photo you want, and click on the 'IMG' box which copies it, then click on 'paste' into your relpy here on the forum...if you need help, just give a shout!!

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. My timing wasn't great with this since I'm back to work until tax season is over. By the time I get home at night I''m not real interested in the computer! Even if I love reading all the stories about everyone's pups. I feel awful leaving them everyday even tho their daddy is there most of the time with them. In answer to your questions...Lindamarie, we're living in snowy, cold, central PA---MI sounds so much worst! (I have lots of snow to give away---for free--you haul it away) And Raleighsmom, hooligan? H-m-m, not sure I know that word
