we have an F1B LD - because we had a preference for a "labby" personality - Hamish is built a bit more Poodly -but don't tell him!!! - He''s about average size for a labradoodle - 24 inches and 50#'s at 7 months old - I haven't heard that size has any health bearings - if both the parents have had the necessary testings.On the other hand I've also loved every Goldendoodle I've ever met too!! - Hopefully our very knowledgable breeders will pipe in with health testing and breeding for temperament. You'll find the perfect fit - as long as you keep asking the temperament and health questions up front!!
