Do half birthdays count?

My mum and dad keep saying that Hugo will be one year old on Tuesday 23rd. Well I'm a half today and I want some emphasis put on that too if you don't mind.

PS These photos were taken just after I returned from having a swim this afternoon. My mother didn't even bother to comb me and make me look beautiful before she took them. I'll bet if Hugo was celebrating a special day he'd get a combing before his photo.

PPS Please note that there is no snow at all this Christmas.

Half Birthday's most DEFINITELY count around here, Spud!! We can remember when we were all looking forward to arriving at your new home with your mom and dad and waiting to see your pictures - I can't believe you are already such a big boy!! Have a Happy 1/2 !!

Spud, you have such a handsome smile in your photo!

In preschool, kids like you who have summertime birthdays get to celebrate their half birthdays so they can party with their school friends. So, of course you should celebrate your half birthday.

Also, thanks for the reminder... my half birthday is tomorrow!
