So for the past few weeks, Dexter has been waking up by 6 am every morning. In the past he would sleep in more. This is quite annoying on the weekends. He really won't quiet down until we take him out and feed him. Our vet noted recently that Dex seems to have some reflux going on and to think about giving him something extra at night. So last night my husband gave both doodles (of course you can't just feed one) a 1/2 cup of food just before bed and Dex slept until my alarm rang at 7. Just some advice for those trying to get your doodle to sleep in later.

Unless there is a bathroom emergency.....my three sleep til I get up. I have to use the "OFF" command every morning so I can get out of bed!! I'm making sure Jonah doesn't see this post....he may get ideas....

Owwww--hope Dex gets over that--for both your sakes!! Last night, I gave Dakota a late evening small meal and he threw up! Turns out, while I was busy working, somebody else fed him dinner and when I fed him he felt obliged to over fill his already stuffed belly!!!!!

I'm glad Dex is sleeping in. The girls get up between 6 and 7 and I take them potty and then they are tols "back to bed" and they run up to thier room and jump on the bed and lay down really fast so I have to be really creative trying tto get back in bed around them.
