Default Ice storm

This past Friday was a big mess here. Trees down everywhere, power out all over the place, where they did not get ice -- they got lots of rain that flooded basements because the ground was frozen and was not soaking it up. 4 days later, some schools and businesses are still closed because they have no power.
It actually was beautiful with the ice on the trees.

Lucy had a stand off with this branch. No matter how much she barked at it, it just stayed there!!

"I'll help clean up, mom. See -- I've got a stick to start off. Come on mom, don't worry about all that snapping and cracking you hear. Wow, I've got lots of new sticks to chew!!"

While ice storms are beautiful, they sure are a pain!

Glad you're ok - and the power is back on.

ANN glad to hear you're safe.
While ice storms have such a natural beauty to them.....the dangers and damage that can be had is disheartening at times.

GREAT pics though of LUCY hahaa and love the one of ice on tree branches

Thats the first whole body picture of Lucy I've ever seen. What a pretty girl. I've always thought she was very unique looking from her avatar. I just love her coloring.

Oooh, about the your ice storm pictures............ Wow! I can't even imagine that. I was visiting my mom in Cincinnati when that was going on. It was 14 degrees that morning there. I don't know how yall do that. I couldn't wait to get home.
