For the first time ever I went out of my depth on my own today. My mum threw the ball into very deep water and told me to go get it. I splashed out thinking it was only going to wet my belly when suddenly there was a delemma. The ball was in deep water just out of my reach. I figured I could probably just take one more step and I'd have it.
Before I knew who was Arthur and who was Martha I found myself swimming. I figured I'd come this far I might as well rescue it, so I did. Here I am bringing it safely ashore. So who's a brave boy then - - - Spud is!

Well Done Spud!!!
The first time Lucee and Rusty got out of their depth, they both splashed back to where they could stand. Rusty was running around like a mad thing but Lucee just stood in the water like a stunned mullet. She stood there for the longest time until Rusty came barreling over and was prancing around in front of her. She finally walked out of the water and has been fine ever since but I think she was in shock the first time You are getting to be such a big boy! Mum and Dad must be so proud of you! When we take the dogs down to Flinders Beach, it looks so similar to where you take the boys. Beautiful rock pools where they can swim and splash.

You ARE a brave boy, Spud, and what a beautiful "swimmin' hole" you have there! P.S. - love your haircut - Tyke will be getting a similar one this summer - she likes water too!!!

Wow!! Those are great pics Anne. And to be able to take your Doodle there everyday is just so fantastic!! I am Green with envy.
I remember when we introduced Marley to the deep water. I was as nervous as he might have been, but he loved it. And now when we approach our favorite watering hole in the car, he just goes beserk as soon as we can see it, til he can get in the water!!
