Default My Dog Obedience Christmas Party

Wow! My very first Christmas Party and it's a dog party!! Mum took the little camera and got lots of photos.
Lucee and I are in our Christmas Bandanas for this special occasion.

Check out what this guy is wearing!!
Poor bloke is taking a breather!

At dog obedience we get to play on agility equipment once a month.
Lucee is a show off on the agility equipment

Slow and steady wins the race if you ask me. Mum calls me Mr Plod.... I hope thats a good thing

We took Hannah along with us too and she brought Big Boy.
Here is Big Boy showing Lucee how to jump over the hurdles....wow he sure can jump high!!

Look Big Boy... I can go faster than you!!

Here is Lucee going through one of the tunnels

We have to sit on these wooden things, but it's a real easy way to get a treat from my dad!

You want me to jump over that!! Maybe you should take another plank out dad!!

It was a great day and I got to see Santa Paws again!!
Talk to you soon
Your mate Rusty

What great pictures! The agility stuff looks so fun! I can't wait to start with Hagird . Very cool Christmas party if you ask me.. I don't know about that poor dog in the second photo though.. he looked really pooped! I can't imagine him jumping over anything!

What a fun party for the doodles! I bet they had fun on the ability equipment. And I bet they are glad they were only wearing bandannas.

It was the wettest weekend we have had in a long time (does that mean our drought maybe finally at an end??)
We nearly didn't go due to the weather but thought we would be walking them in the rain anyways.
Poor Hannah was so tired that night after the party that she just crashed without a bath

Meredith, our two have been playing on agility equipment since puppy classes.
They restrict use of some of the equipment (due to them being little guys) but things like tunnels and
walking on planks and getting use to standing on different surfaces is all part of the training.
The dogs love it.

I think the bulldog photo is a classic. It looks like there is no dog, just a head.

Agility if great fun but big dogs like our do the big jumps and high platform walks etc. Unfortunately our agility and dog training school has closed for lack of an instructor. I've instructed for years and now I'd just like to participate so I am not prepared to do it. There is only one other person here who has the knowledge to instruct and she, too, is tired of doing it. It was being run for a while by a couple who were willing to pass on what they had learned, which was basic stuff, but now they have pulled out, so no school anymore. Pity!

There was a best dressed dog contest and of course the Bulldog won!
Hannah won a colouring in competition for her age group and thought she was the bees knees.
Lucee and I won a Simon Says Dog Obedience contest too.
Lots of fun and all the money raised went to Assistance Dogs, a very worthy cause.
