Sammy's Birthday Party!

Sammy turned a year old last Sunday (Nov 30th) but since it was Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to hold her party this weekend. We'd planned to have a dog park romp with canine friends, but the weather was awful yesterday -- it snowed ALL day and the high temperature was something like 25 degrees...

So, we modified the plan and had people (and one friend dog) over at our place the entire time. Sammy and her dog friend Molly ran around and ate each other's toys in front of an adoring audience. Sammy got tons of presents (more than I did for my birthday) - lots treats, rawhide sticks, and even two new toys! We had a cake too - for the humans - but with a special candle!

She was VERY interested in the cake and kept high fiving at it - unfortunately, we didn't get that in a photo...

After all the excitement, she and Nick had to take a long nap on the couch!

That cake sure looks yummy!! How come ya didn't lick that frosting???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMY! My dad made me a liver cake with cheese for my birthday. It's real easy just liver eggs and seasoned bread crumbs blend in food processor and bake at 350 till Browned. I made one for you! I hope you like it... your friend Abby.
