Ollie's Getting Another Hair Cut. ADDED PHOTOS NOW

Well we are up early and my huby is off to take Ollie to the groomers for a kennel cut

. I have been such a bad mommy lately and let him get matted around his collar and behind his ears. We are usually so good about brushing Ollie, but he had kennel cough, eye infection and we let it go (I know not a good excuse)

I will post the before and after pictures when they get back. It will be strange to see him with such short hair. Just my morning whining.

I'm always sad to see Dexter's long hair go, but then I remember I love his short look too. I bet you'll enjoy your shorn dood too

OKAY, here I am looking all hairy and cute as can be. Mom says that I have to get my hair cut cuz my knots are too bad around my ears and neck.

Yay, dad's got the leash ready. I love going out anywhere. I am so excited to be going with dad. Come on dad let's go already!

Mom, tell dad we have to go now.

I'm home mom. Mom? Where are you?

Oh, there you are. Am I still cute mom? My hair is soooo short, but I feel great. No more knots.

Here's a side view mom. See no more knots. I'm ready to play.

Mom says that my hair will grow back really nice now, and soon enough I will be all furry again. She also said I am going to go see the really nice lady at the groomers every 6 weeks for a bath and tidy so I will never get matted again. Whew! Time to play now. Guess what mom, with so little hair I can see my tail and chase it a lot better.

Oh Ollie, what a transformation! I like both looks. I'm glad you feel better. Ask mom for an extra blankie to sleep tonight, it might feel a bit breezy without your coat.

oh OLLIE I almost didn't recognize you till i saw those sweet eyes.......and you must feel so soft and velvety now

you look so cute either way.....and your mom is right, from here on in she can keep up with those horrible matts

Learned my lesson though. I shall keep up with the brushing. He's so spunky without all that hair though. I think Ollie likes it a lot.

I don't think mom reconized me right away either. Just had to give her kisses and a high five and she was putty in my paws.

i;d be in shock too......i remember when we had Peanut cut down to 1/2in and vet asked us to have her face shaved
