We took Dakota to the vet and he does (probably--it's a process of elimination by that seems most likely) have kennel cough. Seems to be a mild case. He is on antibiotics for a week or so. He is actually gagging worse today than he has in a few days but the weather here is awful too--pea soup fog!!
We took Dakota to a new vet. His last "vet" would actually change Drs often and the last one that diagnosed his hip injury didn't even remember which leg was hurt by the end of the 15 min appt. |

Your new vet sounds like a winner!
Our vet we go to is getting too big and too expensive. We have a smaller country vet close by we are thinking of trying. Dakota I hope your cough goes away soon. Are you still busy practicing for Splash Dogs???

Sounds like Dakota will be ok. Take it easy, take your pills and you will be raring to go in no time. Glad to hear. And you have a good new vet too, so as far as sicknesses go, this was a good one.
