Love the pooping background! With all those weeds, do you get ticks too? The field in back of our house is loaded. Have to keep Lucy in the fenced yard unless it is the dead of winter.

I don't want to jinx myself but to-date (meaning 15yrs now) we don't get ticks HOWEVER i keep 5acres out of 6 mowed down constantly
the wood piles are in edge of woods, the deer mostly stay away from house.

we get fox ( how Max got mange)...fleas aren't bad here either.

WEEDS though.....if only i could sell them, i'd have a ton of $$$

Yawn, hate to tell you Annmarie, in our winters you can wear short sleeves on a lot of days. Our summer top temp is around 24 - 26 C. Our winter tops around 17 - 19 C. Quite a few people here swim every day all year. Too cold for me though. Of course, our dogs will never have the fun of playing in snow though.

Hagrid also got a bath today because he had so many tennis ball sized snowballs stuck in his coat that I had to spray him down with warm water to melt them anyway.. I figured he may as well get clean while he was all wet . I found several sticks and leaves in the tub when he got out.. but to be fair I think he got them on our morning walk because I brushed him for half an hour before we left . It took him the whole day to dry, but now he's beautiful
