So the first week with Leila in the house was a little rough. Sadie and Leila didn't get along to well and Maya pretty much ignored her. Then Maya and Leila got into a fight as well. What a difference the last 2 days. Yesterday Leila and Sadie had a half hour wrestling match that was all play and no fighting. I was very happy that they were getting along but a little irritated that the WWF had to start at 6:30am. Then I bought them a new bungee toy. The squeaker lasted about 25 min but the 3 way tug of war lasted for hours. (Don't worry I have pics I'll post a little later). Then we had a 10 min down stay with all 3 of them lined up watching me clean the kitchen. Then it was off to bed. Leila likes to get up there first to get the best dog bed. Last night she let Sadie share it with her, so Sadie and Leila slept in the big dog bed and Maya was at the foot of the bed. So all in all everyone is getting to be friends which is great!!!
Oh and we had WWF again this morning at 6:30am. I am going to have to talk to these girls and see if we can't move the matches to later in the day!!! |

Heather.....you'll spoil all the fun! The best WWF bouts are ALWAYS either early in the morning or late at night....just ask my neighbors....
So glad to hear that they are all starting to get along. It makes it so much easier. Keep up the good work!! Have you had any Appson Leila yet?

awwwh...that's so cute and good to hear.
Funny about the morning WWF - our doodles are really tired in the morning and don't want to do anything but eat and go potty. Our WWFs occur at night.

I love hearing how the foster's fit in.........very cute...
Tanner is a slug in the AM but once we sit down to watch TV or read he suddenly comes alive and he doesn't stop until we go to bed.......Even if he went to daycare. Sometimes I wish he had an OFF switch twisted:

My BF has been great. He takes them out and plays ball with them for a good 30 min almost every night. Sadie usually doesn't play but Maya and Leila do. Maya will only play with certain balls and if Leila gets it she won't play so he has to throw one for Maya one way and one for Leila the other and then has to wait for both to get back and hold one while he throws the ball for the other. |

Good news on the "happy fights"!!!! I need a rent-a-dog for some early morning and late evening romps with Dakota. Between rainy weather and daylight savings time making outside time rare, he is sooo bored and lacking in excercise. He has once again decided that I'm an acceoptable litter mate and I'm constantly "under attack"!!!!

I'm sitting here scratching my head. What is WWF? Where I come from that stands for World Wildlife Fund but that doesn't fit with your stories at all.
Glad there is harmony in the family.
