Your Doodle's Quirkiest Quirks???

Thought this might be fun! (Have we done this one already? Can't remember.)

What is your doodle's weirdest/silliest/most bizarre/quirkiest quirks???

Boo's quirks:
Toots while going down the stairs
(the faster he steps, the faster he phffts!)

Looks in the toilet bowl every time he goes in the bathroom.
(He doesn’t drink from it, just checks to see if something has magically appeared.)

Burps in your face when you give him a shoulder rub.

Thanks you for the shoulder rub by licking your left earlobe, then giving it a quick tug!
(funny and a bit unsettling at the same time! and only the left ear! )

brings me his foodbowl when HE THINKS he needs to eat
been doing that since he was 7mos old hhahahaaaaaa

max's newest thing? to put his paws on my lap in the morning and
stretch while i try to sip my morning coffee or tea

peanut? when isn't she goofy? OKAY she UNZIPS coat pockets and bookbags, dave's work bag with her front teeth and takes out receipts, money, or say anything made of Paper ...if caught, hides it on roof of
her mouth grabs one of her toys and sits acting so innocent

Since Wayne, our foster dog, is new to us, we are enjoying his quirks. He is definitely a water dog.

When we walk, he loves to get a drink from every sprinkler he meets.

He also loves crushed ice. When he hears the crushed ice in my fridge door turn on, he comes running. Nothing makes him happier than a bowl of ice chips.

Another new one for me is our friend's dog who catches the frisbee between her paws! We could never have trained a dog to do that. LOL!

What a cute idea!

Let's see...

Lucas likes to sleep on the couch with his butt elevated on a pillow.

Della has a plush toy that she loves, she will lay it the toy in her mouth for hours ever so slightly biting down while "making biscuits" with her front feet.

They are both obsessed with the apple tree in our backyard, eat and apple after every meal.

Kirby- 1) every morning he stretches and toots; 2) gives us "hugs" everyday when we get home from work; 3) when we're on the sofa, he'll lay on the ground and put his head on the sofa; 4) he does a "butt flop" when on the sofa (he jumps up on the sofa and then jumps again and tucks his back legs under himself and lands on the sofa on his butt)

Dexter-1) loves the bathtub (I'll find him standing in there all the time doing nothing), 2) has to drink from any source of flowing water (this includes when I wash his paws - he drinks the water coming off his paws); 3) after Kirby eats he always goes to see if anything is left in the food bowl; 4) prefers to lay on one side of the couch (the side our head would be on)

there are a million more I can't think of now.

Denver likes to put his feet up on the bed while doing a
big stretch and then farts and then gets that goofy Doodle smile
and then checks his butt to see where the noise came from...........
He will park his butt on the couch and leave his front feet and head
on the ground and just sit there..............
Likes to pee into the wind while running down a ball............
He gives the alpha cat Jade a kiss every day even though he knows she is gonna smack him and she does.................

Semi flops down on the floor so hard you can hear it across the house! It is like she goes goes boneless.

She licks anything she can get her tongue on in the dishwasher...clean or dirty!!

Loves ice, too. She will come from anywhere in the house if she hears the icemaker going.

If I'm outside with Nicky he'll slap the hose bibb (water faucet) with his paw to indicate he wants me to turn it on so he can have a drink.

When he wants a treat he'll get his Kong and throw it at me. If I ignore him, he'll do it again. Then I'll go into the kitchen and say "Bring me your Kong." I won't put a "cookie" in the Kong until he brings the Kong to me and drops it in my hand.

After eating Nicky rubs the sides of his head along upholstered furniture.

If I'm sitting down in front of the TV, having a snack or casual dinner, Ozzie likes to toss one of his stuffed animals right onto my plate of food. He's got great aim too! Then he looks me in the eye as if to say "What!?" He also likes to drop small toys into my coffee.

[Lucee&Rusty]

Rusty will turn around and around in the drapes, looks like he is wearing a skirt!

Lucee lays on her back and balances a ball in her mouth, then plays with it with her paws.

Rusty hides under my bed when he doesn't want something done to him eg; ear drops (barely squeezes under there and there is no way of getting him out till he crawls out himself)

Lucee likes to do her morning stretch against someone standing up. (no toots thought unless they are silent )

Rusty doesn't fetch the ball, he waits for Lucee on the way back and ambushes her.

Every morning I brush my cat and every morning Rusty puts his paws on the bed where I am brushing her. She gets crabby and chases Rusty around the house (must get this on video, it is a real hoot and he never learns, maybe he thinks it's a game)

Lucee loves belly flopping on her bed at full gallop.

Hey, I can go on and on, they are doodles after all. They specialize in Doofus

First thing every morning Lucy finds the first human she can and begins going round and round between their legs, stopping briefly for a good rub and scratch on her back near her tail. During the scratch she does this "bunny dance" (see the video below)

She will also roll back her lips and give a big "smile" while wagging her tail off.
Her doodle 500's in the house are usually done in the family room and she goes up and around the couch, down to the floor, up and out of the recliner, down to the floor, and up and around the loveseat in a circular blur over and over.

She will take mouthfuls of her dry dog food, run to the next room, and open her mouth so it drops all over the place and then look at us to see if we noticed. Its like she likes to make the clattering noise of the food hitting the floor.
She loves to lick our 16 year old sons feet...ughh!!

I think Raleighs funniest quirk is the way he knows every cotton picking commercial concerning dogs or cats, and comes running from the other end of the house to bark at the tv when he hears them!!!
The other cute thing he does is, when I let him out in the morning, after he's done his business, he comes back up on the deck, plops his butt on the deck, and two front feet on the next stair, and surveys the yard!!

This one I told you about just recently but he comes into the bathroom when I brush my teeth at night...waits to have his brushed and then wants and ice cube and off to bed he goes.

For the time being we have no yard so we walk him to go potty. When ever he poops (he is on a 15' pull out leash) first it has to be the nicest, softest grass on the street. After pooping then he zooms back and forth and back and for with his butt tucked under trying to do his doodle 500's. Neighbors must really think he is strange.

Another thing he does is he hides his favorite toys (his leopard fuzzy balls) behind the sofa cushions or on the bed behind our pillows. Then he will go back every so often to make sure they are still they.

Gotta love um they do keep us amused...he is our entertainment committee

Gus is far quirkyier than Hershey. He brings me his food bowl when he wants to eat and slams in into the floor. He also has to go #1 IMMEDIATELY after eating even at over 1 yr old or he piddles on the foor. but I love him anyway.
