Default Faster than a Grey Hound???

I took Maya to her 2nd lure coursing event today. She ran her first course in 17:56. Before she got a chance to run she sat patiently and waited her turn and was the perfect dog. I was so proud. Well after she ran and got a taste of it she was a complete monkey til her turn came again. Her turn finally came and I thought she would be so tired she wouldn't do any better. Well I was wrong. The second time she broke the course cause she caught the bag they use. So they had to get another bag and clip. Once everything was hooked up again she was ready to go. They put the bag very far in front of her and she ran the course in 15:31. That was the fastest non-gray hound time and she did beat one of the gray hounds (he ran it in 15:36). GO DOODLES!!!!

I would have taken pics but all you would have seen was a blur!!!

We have two Greys and our Brodie monster...It is fun to watch Brodie play chase the Greys! We have 1.5 acre fenced in so they have plenty of room to run. Brodie can not catch Classy or Screamer, but he gives it his best!
Way to go Maya for beating out one of the Greys! Sounds like a blast!

Wow! That's impressive.

A few weeks ago Charlie, Benson and I met three greyhounds at our local dog park. They were running rings around my doodles. One of the greys was a champion. He took one stride for every four of Charlie's. He literally flew through the air.

Congrats, Maya!

wow maya, you go girl!

we met a grayhound at the dog park today. unfortunately, she was rather shy -- her owner told us last time she was at the park she was running around getting ahead of all the other dogs, and hit a tree i guess their brains are not all that big....
