Took the kids and Dex on a hike to an old excavation site. Why does Dex look so SMALL??

He totally stopped growing, not quite 50 lbs yet. A GOOD 47 lbs.....

Has Dex just had a haircut? Looks like a neat trim which may explain why he looks a little smaller?
