Lucee's at the vet

Lucee had to spend the day at the vet

Her yeast infection still hasn't cleared after two lots of drops.
They are going to syringe her ears and pluck the hair in her ear canals.
Poor Rusty is missing his playmate

Yuck! I hope they can get it taken care of. She's certainly being missed at home, huh? By more than just Rusty!

Well Lucee is home and $450 later her ears are clear of pus and muck.
Rusty was overjoyed even though she was still a bit wobbly on her paws.
We still have to put drops in her ears and hopefully the infection will clear.
On the bright side her ear drums are not damaged.

Hey Lucee...you stay well, ya hear????? My sister Molly is always battling ear infections..and I know how uncomfortable you were....it must have been a joyous reunion for Rusty and Mom when you came home!!!

Rusty looked so pitiful without his buddy...glad she is back and hopefully feeling better really soon! Tyke seems to be able to avoid the ear infection problem, but I had them when I was little - OUCH!!

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes.
The vets hoping that we can now get the drops right down into her ear now that the muck is all gone.
She slept like a rock last night, probably after affects from the general anaesthetic.
