Big Day on the River (Picture overload!!!)

Tyke had her first day out on the Edisto River, and finally got to go SWIMMING! She was a little scared at first, and still prefers to play in the water where she can stand on her own, but she really enjoyed the boat ride!

HEY, IS THERE A BEER IN HERE FOR ME????

OK, I'M GONNA GIVE THIS SWIMMING THING A TRY!

BOO! IT'S THE "CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON!"

THAT WAS FUN! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WAS SO SCARED OF!!

WHAT'CHA CATCHIN', DAD???

BIG TOUGH DOG CHECKS OUT THE BEACH

ARE YOU SURE THERE'S NO BEER FOR ME???

BUT I WANNA RUN THE BOAT!!! IT'S MY TURN - MOM GETS TO DO IT ALL THE TIME!!!

I STOLE YOUR SEAT, DAD!!!!

BUT DAD, I LOOK SILLY IN YOUR SUNGLASSES!!!

LAND HO!!!!

And a beautiful rainbow greeted us when we got back to the landing!

And wouldn't it be FUN???? This is just about the one place around here we can let her swim without worrying about 'gators! The lady who has cut my hair for years lives just around the bend from where we were swimming...she has been there for 9 years and has never seen one....that and all the beautiful sandbars makes it a wonderful place for dogs to enjoy the water!

Hey Gene, Tyke wants to know exactly HOW MUCH LONGER before she can have a beer???

What great photos Kim!!!! Looks like you all had a terrific day!!! Tyke sitting in the fishing chair with that look on her face is a hoot!!!! All of the pics that you take of her shows her personality, which she wears right on her cute little face!!!!! She must be a lot of fun to live with!

Tyke looks like a fun day, I love Daddy's boat but I'm not very fond of the water, swimming scares me

I think they should have let you drive the boat, you fit perfect in the chair and what a nice rainbow photo Mommy took !
