Bwahahaha...you ARE a funny one Annmarie!!! Actually, I wasn't really afraid...I do know that they are more afraid of us, than we of them...unless they're cornered, or their babies are threatened...haven't heard of anyone being attacked by a black bear up here in NH! And if approached, you're instructed to crouch low in a fetal position, and cover your head and DON'T MOVE!!!! Hahahahaha...if that ever happened, Annmaries quote would hold true!!!
Also, last nite was hell nite! Not only did Molly puke on my bed, after watching the closing ceremonies for the Olympics, but Raleigh must have jumped off the bed a dozen times woo-woo-wooing in the kitchen...hahahaha...just what I want to hear when I'm alone!!!
He must have been dreaming about his conquest!

Wow, between Raleigh and Gracie, the pup of mine that chased off a mama black bear and her 2 cubs a while back, maybe we should start thinking of them as bear hunting dogs! lol

It amazes me how something as gentle and loving as a doodle can also be so brave and fearless as to take on a bear.

Yeah, we live in an area where humans are continually encroaching on habitats and the animals are paying the price for it. We've had some issues with mountain lions in "our" neighborhood, chasing people and their little dogs! It was most certainly "their" neighborhood first so I feel badly about it. But what can you do?

Anyway, WAY TO GO, Raleigh -- what a stud!
